First class day – beach morning and first class

Beach morning and first class

At 7:30 we met to go to Bondi

At ten in the morning I had visited 3 beaches

Bronte

Tamarama

Bondi (this photo is from 12, so the Bech was way less crowded in the morning, which was nice)

Then I went home to have some lunch and prep for class

First class in person, and walking there I realised I was a bit nervous. Because this one would be. About forming teams, so if I slacked (or just had bad luck) I might get in a suboptimal group.

Class room

Outside every room they have this so you can see you've found the right room and if you disturb anything by going in ahead of your class. Im 17:00-19 Prototyping Physical Interaction (Workshop)

Strategy:

Find ambitious Austrailians aiming for highest marks to team up with

Then I can go travel and they will cover for me because they don't want lower grades

Here is the room, they have the same layout on multiple floors, its quite and interesting layout and has projectors and screens al around the room. I think he siad 15 projectors.

Team

I ended up with two French girls and and Australian guy. Im very happy with my team. Alix, Chloé and Ashton. Alix and Chloé are also here on one semester exchange and Ashton is born and raised in Sydney. I feel like we all want to get our things done in school and not let it drag on which I think is good. Instead of having people want to meet over the weekends etc.

Shopping and calling

Then I went grocery shopping (which took a very long time because I had just planned to get something which could be cooked real quick but they didn't have that, so I had to figure out what to cook and eat while in the store).
